Family tour
Our family, as one of local families in ”Veli Varoš” and Split itself, loves to eat and drink traditional dalmatian food, as our oldones use to do… As a part of dalmatian tradition – local people are still mostly workers of all kinds. One of main trades on this area is still fishing and agriculture.
So imagine a perfect day that starts with a boat ride, a panorama of the city or island, swimming and finally a home-cooked dinner. This is called a family tour for our guests. We will show you the city or the island (depending on where you stay) and prepare a perfect dinner that you will enjoy just as much as in the best restaurants. We have our own fireplace and prepare it in front of you in your yard and ours. This Dalmatian day will impress our guests just as the nature around us does here.
We also have bicycles, romobiles and scooters for our guests to drive around the island.
Military tour - Island Vis
We also organize military tours, where we take guests to places where soldiers of the former Yugoslav army used to be. Otherwise, due to its strategic location, Vis was closed to foreigners until May 30, 1992, when the JNA left the island. It had a lot of military bases and tunnels. We will visit some of them as well as a tunnel in the bay of Parja. That tunnel was a storage for rockets, the tunnel itself is 5 meters high. We have the following tunnels at a place called “Nova pošta” where the view is towards the open sea. Also they were building rails to bring cannons through the tunnel.
