Island of Vis
The town of Vis is located in a large and naturally protected bay (the bay of St. George) on the northeastern side of the island of Vis, facing Hvar and the Dalmatian mainland. The port of Vis is located in the most indented southwestern part of the bay, which is protected from the influence of the open sea by the islet of Host and the peninsula of Prirovo.
